Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.
The Warrior Group Introduced
The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the primary party to begin their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
Dividing the Cast
Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be impossible.
This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.
What Defines the Combat Party
As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.
Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might seem unsuited, but the events of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.
Motivations for Departure
For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to sell off.
The traitor then cleared his debts and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd close behind.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:
- The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks retribution.
- The adventurer has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile place.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the party access places they usually can’t.
- Moreover, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
- The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.
This means them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in quest for the antagonist.
